Our Programs

Women who do not have a high school diploma
can enroll in one of MLC’s three learning programs:

  • Tutoring Program

    Part-time/6 hours a week

  • Intensive Study Program

    Full-time/25 hours a week

  • High School Diploma

    Part-time & Full-time options

Support Services

Mercy Learning Center’s approach to educating women is comprehensive and supportive. Here, women learn much more than basic educational skills, they learn ways to improve every part of their lives.

All programs are offered Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. at Mercy Learning Center, 637 Park Ave. in Bridgeport.  All programs and services are free to enrolled participants.

MLC’s support services include:

  • Social services (casework, counseling, food and diaper assistance, etc.)
  • Job and college counseling
  • An educational childcare program (for children ages 3 months to 4 years)
  • Enrichment opportunities (workshops, field trips, etc.)
