Women of Achievement Scholarships
Women at Mercy Learning Center who have progressed through our NEDP or GED and earned a high school or GED diploma are often our most gifted students. Their personal goals of becoming successful doctors, office workers, teachers or other professionals seem more achievable after they earn a high school equivalency diploma. However, after earning a diploma, the reality of the financial burden of college (or job training) tuition makes their aspirations a near impossibility. They need assistance to reach those goals. So the Women of Achievement Scholarship was established as a fund from which recent graduates are offered assistance if needed. Donations in any amount are always welcome for our scholarship fund.
